Raleigh Marriott City Center: The room rate at the Marriott $135 + taxes. The deadline for room reservations is February 7, 2010. To make your reservations call (919) 833-1120. Remember to tell them you are attending the NORTH CAROLINA HEAD START ASSOCIATION conference to get this special group rate!

The Poverty Simulation Experience seminar will be offered on March 11, 2010 during the conference, however, it  requires pre-registration. Please check (ü) the appropriate box on the Conference Registration form for each registrant that plans to attend this session.

    For exceptional parents/guardians of currently enrolled (2009-2010) Head Start or Early Head Start children.

    For exceptional Head Start or Early Head Start Teachers that have been employed in their position for at least three (3) years and currently have at least a CDA.

    For exceptional Head Start or Early Head Start Family Advocates or Family Service Workers that have been employed in their position for at least three (3) years and currently have at least a high school diploma.

    For Head Start Alumni of NC Head Start Programs.

    SCHOLARSHIPS

    For Head Start graduates who are currently seniors in high school and planning to attend a college or university during the 2010-2011 school year.
